Bisphenol A (BPA, abbreviated as BPA) is an environmental hormone commonly found in raw materials. BPA mimics estrogen hormones in the body and may affect children's brains, reproductive systems, gender characteristics, and nervous systems causing behavioral or learning issues. The impact is especially prominent in children and fetuses.

Phthalates (PAEs) are mainly used as plasticizers and is a type of environmental hormone. Children exposed to Phthalates may develop asthma, skin irritations, and allergies.

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) toys pose a great threat to the health of young children. Infants and toddlers in the oral stage may directly ingest plasticizers such as DEHP in PVC plastics through hand-to-mouth activities.
