FSC certification ensures that U.S.L.'s packaging materials comply with strict social, environmental, and economic standards. By sourcing paper from FSC certified forests, U.S.L. ensures that the materials used in our packaging are from responsibly managed and sustainable sources.

  • Sustainable Logging: selective harvesting and monitoring to maintain forest health.

  • Environmental and Community Protection: conserve biodiversity, protect water resources, and respect the rights of local communities and indigenous peoples.

RᴏHS Compliant Plant-Based Ink

U.S.L. uses SGS-certified vegetable ink that meets RoHS non-toxic standards as a environmentally friendly alternative to traditional petroleum-based materials. We chose colors derived from oils like soybean, rapeseed, and sunflower for the ink's easy separation properties to enhance recyclability.

RoHS is an EU environmental directive that limits the presence of harmful substances to protect environmental and human health. SGS is a global certification, inspection, and testing organization, offering third-party certifications for various regulations and standards, including RoHS.
