In the era where everything changes with a blink of an eye, U.S.L. firmly believes that the only unwavering power that can change the world is knowledge and solidarity.
This time, U.S.L. worked with volunteers at International Ministries to bring our educational toys halfway across the world to Eswatini, South Africa to give children at the New Hope Centre an opportunity to learn and grow together.
The New Hope Centre is a classroom transformed from a tractor container for less fortunate children to have the space to receive an education. Learning resources are very limited, and thus, it is a very rare and precious opportunity for them to obtain a set of age appropriate educational material. It is our wish to give back to society and give children the opportunity to explore the joy of mathematics, logics, and creativity by “playing to learn, and learning to play”.
Special thanks to the volunteers for making all the arrangements and going to great lengths to deliver our teaching aids to the children at New Hope Centre. Seeing photos of children concentrating on “playing” and hearing the feedback made it feel like we were standing right there smiling along with them for making the challenge a reality. This smile is the best form of encouragement for U.S.L.!
In the future, U.S.L. will continue to design toys that are fun and meaningful so more children can learn in a safe, happy, and inspired approach. We also invite volunteers in all walks of life to join us in bringing Taiwan to the world through the “power of education” !
